00:00:31: but well anyway problem You know, I talk a lot in my pockets about the Hollywood Dream.
00:00:38: how hard it is.
00:00:40: Talked about dream killers trying to take my dream away use material allegations harass for being talented and gifted rejections by record companies.
00:00:57: Rejection's not seeing you.
00:01:03: no that's not good was you know?
00:01:07: as I told ya, been with Broadcast Music Incorporated at BMI for thirty-three years and You know i didn't really make any money with them.
00:01:16: I wasn't discovered y'know.
00:01:18: So getting on indie label just struggling for twenty some years And...I wasn't even paid by them until like eight years ago..and I spent a lot of time When I got to be in my not concentrating on being live except registered wherever songs Recorded.
00:01:37: but there were a bunch of songs.
00:01:38: I recorded that.
00:01:40: I didn't register because I was trying to get the record deal.
00:01:43: cuz That's what they told me and I signed into contract in nineteen.
00:01:48: eighty-three.
00:01:49: They told Me You're not gonna Get no money you know, we'll be a mindless shit with Your songs released too?
00:02:00: You Know public or whatever and that's like oh okay.
00:02:03: And i thought wow Actually, maybe I shouldn't have signed with them at all.
00:02:09: It was free but They said they needed a major label and every major Major labels that i tried rejected me and Andy labels rejected Me.
00:02:19: then finally after twenty two years due to technology I was putting my songs on the other songs that I made in recording studio with David Wardervayery A white guy Years before.
00:02:35: And Then I started to realize i wasn't getting no money.
00:02:40: They're like, okay it's finally released!
00:02:43: So I talked with them at BMI in the year and then they started paying me a little.
00:02:53: That was when...I think there were more artistic you know care for their artists?
00:03:02: I don't think so..I think that are more caring about just making money for themselves Because I got like a hundred dollars two hundred dollars or less fifty dollars, and then I you know the same platforms.
00:03:16: You know heart radio Heart Radio and Spotify And not now they only give me three dollars.
00:03:30: so i decided that am NOT going to be a writer anymore.
00:03:35: It's just.
00:03:37: it's just like I'm going backwards.
00:03:39: I should have left a long time ago, but wasn't just that I thought there was respected at broadcast music and BMI.
00:03:46: they rejected me from the composer lab.
00:03:48: They rejected me for so many events.
00:03:51: in fact when i tried to um go to Coenca Avenue is cafe this thing they rejected Me.
00:03:58: it seemed like they favor those who made or those Made out of a chart or something and everybody the little people.
00:04:07: they forget which I am in.
00:04:09: Haven't seen my dream that had so much adversity living on here now, but it's just you know can not believe what i experience.
00:04:18: And to go through this after being with them for thirty three years is such an insult.
00:04:25: But I should uh You know already requested a termination letter early this year because I was sick of the not feeling accepted.
00:04:34: So I decided to end my writer's account in my publishing and look for some other PRO, i don't know where this is gonna be.
00:04:43: um...I'm still a soundwriter just had to look for someone else..still a songwriter!
00:04:49: I repeat- I got publishing companies with BMI and S-Cup so like....i dont'know where im going.
00:04:57: sooo its really like.
00:05:00: you know Im doing what things that no one Should go through or understand, you know It's not fair.
00:05:07: You know if it's been all these years writing and You're doing this enough to go backwards?
00:05:14: Never Yeah Especially I lose here.

00:05:25: yet Determinated is the same thing as like if i was doing so what i was Doing twenty five years ago or something.
00:05:32: Then I have to leave my way, you know.
00:05:34: You know that's what i would say.
00:05:37: um...I am dealing with things.
00:05:38: That..you Know probably tells me a lot that I have To make a move So-to keep My dignity and my spirit.
00:05:50: But that is one of them.
00:05:51: it just not fair.
00:05:53: They said they didn't find Me on the several platforms.
00:05:57: someone if they listen to some coroner list Had people listening.
00:06:01: all these allegations by These crazy People Again, LA's got some crazy people.
00:06:09: I was told that in Buffalo they are crazy down the L.A.. And i dealt with some very sick crazy people.
00:06:17: and That is not what am supposed to be dealing at LA.
00:06:21: I came to LA to become an artist.
00:06:24: If there gonna be a artists im gone Or you know like theres another dream Academically.
00:06:31: if that don't happen What does Im doing here?
00:06:33: It would be impossible.
00:06:35: So I can't go backward.
00:06:37: I'd have to go forward including my home situation.
00:06:43: I Mean it's not fair.
00:06:46: so many Hollywood dreams, I've been taken away and I don't want minds be one of them.
00:06:50: but in might have.
00:06:52: so It such disrespect for an artist.
00:06:57: I hope that PROs could really be.
00:07:01: I need someone who was aware the struggle up struggles over artists at the bottom as well as top, how hard it is to be an artist.
